Suboxone has to say 72 hours after the doctor that remains in the system, then gradually decline after the start of the feeling. I'm on Suboxone for almost a year and have no desire to leave, a life saver for me. I too have been on vicodin, oxy `s Percs, then got a dose of heroin and knew that this would be the end of me if I went that direction. My doctor told me when he takes a good 2-3 weeks to feel "normal" output of Suboxone. He said yes, it may feel abandoned, but much softer after stopping the pill.
